Yep, you heard right. People in Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, France and Spain can use Spotify to stream music on your desktop. Mashable describes Spotify as a free, legal, cloud-based streaming music service delivered via desktop software with a nice social twist.

Note that while Spotify is free you need an invite to use it. And you can also use it on Nokia, Sony Ericsson and phones that use Symbian, iPohne or Android.

Spotify says the aim is to legally bring the world’s music to everyone. The company added that it hopes to launch in more countries soon. Pity its not available in Jamaica huh! Hurry up Spotify!
