Dr. KingDr. Martin Luther King, Jr., perhaps the most famous icon of the African-American civil rights movement, is honored annually around the world on the third Monday of January. Dr. King was born in Atlanta, Georgia January 15, 1929.

To celebrate his life and achievements, the Information Resource Center of the U.S. Embassy has distributed a “Webliography” related to Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement.

Panmedia is posting this “Webliography” because of the impact Dr. King had on Caribbean people of African descent.
