We soft launched Yuhrate.com a week ago and have been surprised at the quick and enthusiastic response of visitors to the site. People are reviewing the favorite restaurants, beaches and attractions. Owners are sending us photos of their establishments and asking to be included on the site. The site features reviews of places, products, services, events, and activities. Everything you need to know in navigating the Jamaica experience.
On Alexa.com the site moved from an initial ranking of 13 million to just over 700,000 in that week after we have added in the social media a Facebook page, a Twitter account and a Flickr photostreams. We also added several dozen exciting videos that have made that section the most popular.
Yuhrate is a visitor driven site that is easy to use and navigate. Visitors can select a category and search by name or location to find the product, service, or experience you seek. Need a second opinion? Then read user reviews, or even write one of your own! Rate anything! From the best beaches to the hottest clubs; the hypest street-dance, to the finest restaurant. You can even Bumpit! What's that again? Bumpit dear friend.
Hover your mouse over the green button on each selection and a thumbs up will appear. Click on the thumbs up and that selection gets an added vote.
The more users bump reviews the higher they will rate. Top Rated link shows which selection has most votes. You can bump as much as you want. But you can only Rate a selection once by giving it the amount of stars you think it deserves.
