A short video on Drupal has won six Telly Awards. Drupal is the Content Management System and application framework Panmedia uses to build client websites. It is an open source platform used by companies such as FedEx, Sony BMG and the United States Government.

The video, "What is Drupal?", is a multi-media style introduction to Drupal that is only one minute long. Produced by pingVision, the video was produced on an Apple Mac Pro using Final Cut Studio, with motion graphics and compositing created in Apple’s Motion.

According to its website, the Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions and work created for the web.

The video premiered earlier this year at a media conference and got enthusiastic viewer response. Because it is short and fast-paced, viewers can always opt to watch the video repeatedly. It is a useful introduction to Drupal, even for the tech-savvy. This year’s Telly Awards received 14,000 entries from five continents.
