Toshiba is meeting the needs of today’s savvy computer users with its new Qosmio F755 , the world's first laptop to display glasses-free 3-D content. The laptop can display 3D and 2D content at the same time on one screen.
The Qosmio F755 has powerful processing speed, and great graphic game play and screen resolution. It features a 15.6-inch full HD display and has an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 540M graphics and a 750 MB hard drive, as well as Harmon Kardon speakers, a Blu-ray drive and HDMI output.
To get a 3-D effect without glasses, the Qosmio F755 uses an auto-stereoscopic display. This works by creating a double parallax image: two images are projected simultaneously, and face-tracking technology (through its built-in webcam) customizes the image based on the viewer's position, delivering one image for the left eye, and one for the right.
An ABI Research March survey showed that 28% of respondents listed 3-D capability as important in a new notebook computer purchase, while 88 percent chose processor speed and memory.
