Jamaican jerk is almost as world famous as our athletes. Visitors often ask us via the sites in the Panmedia Network where abroad they can find the spicy food that is ubiquitous here.
Well, we can confidently say that there is a solution for their search. Panmedia has launched another mobile app, Jerk Jamaica, that offers useful consumer information. Foodies around the world can download the app at BlackBerry App World and find jerk joints in major American, Canadian and United Kingdom cities, along with the major places in each parish that serve the delightful delectable.
The app organizes jerk spots by location both in Jamaica and in the world, and includes address, contact information, reviews and ratings.
Reviews and ratings are compiled using information submitted by users of the app. When app users visit these establishments, they can submit a rating or post reviews that will be displayed for other users to see. New jerk spots will be added as opened.
The goal is for Jerk Jamaica to be the social recommendation source for eating jerk in Jamaica and abroad. The app is available for download on BlackBerry and Android smartphones.
