The Private Sector of Jamaica asked Panmedia this month to repurpose its website for easier access to information and to offer more functionality to its members. After winning the tender, we met with a PSOJ team to begin our discovery process.

The organisation says its current site is inadequate to meet the modern-day demands of its members.  PSOJ’s old site lacked coherent information architecture, was less than attractive, and encouraged paper based processes.

Executive Director Sandra Glasgow says the repurposing is critical to implementing its strategic plan. The new site will register new members online and let them sign up for seminars, workshops, subscriptions, and pay with credit cards. The site will also integrate the agency’s accounting and other software, as well as let PSOJ administrators access and manage stored data. It will also be scalable enough to add new functions.

The PSOJ is a membership organization for Jamaican companies in all sectors of the economy.
