Panmedia joined WorldSkills Jamaica key principals last week to plan its participation in the Global Village that will be a feature of WorldSkills International Competition in Shizuoka, Japan November 14 to 21.

The Global Village offers participating countries in the competition an opportunity to showcase culture and products.
The Jamaica booth at the Global Village will be administered through HEART/NTA, WorldSkills Jamaica parent agency. Karen Gayle, HEART’s  Director of institution based training, will be in charge of the booth.

The agency plans to offer visitor Blue Mountain Coffee, samples of Appleton rum, Solomon Gundy (pickled herring) and soups from Grace Foods.

HEART Trust/NTA LogoHEART is using the booth as a touch point for visitors because the agency has bid to host the General Assembly of WorldSkills International in 2010 in Jamaica.
