Why is my light bill so high, and does the government know, or even care??? They do, and they do. Jamaica’s National Energy Policy and the Electricity Act (Not updated in over 150 years) was updated by the Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology. People who have manners make their grandmothers proud. But sometimes you put those manners on pause when you believe an oppressive system endangers you or people you feel empathy for. That’s okay. We’re always excited to learn new things at Panmedia, so we were pleased when the UWI Open Campus asked us to help raise its social media presence.
 
It meant scouring the region for timely and relevant content, and seeking to understand what motivates those who want to advance their education by any means.  We certainly had to widen our research parameters and take a regional look at what OC delivers in coursework and opportunities.
