This month Panmedia begins communications support to the Jamaica office of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture. We are developing a strategy for the Institute to connect more directly with its stakeholders and give the public a better understanding of its role in Jamaica’s agriculture.

Since the 1970s, IICA has been working to make that industry here sustainable. It partners frequently with the Ministry of Agriculture and other international agencies such as USAID and the Canadian International Development Agency, to develop programs and projects that contribute to rural life and agriculture.

IICA has many successes to profile. Its contribution to the Jamaica Network of Rural Women Producers, Jamaica Greenhouse Growers Association and the pig industry has been immense. Its involvement in newer projects such as the development of Agro-Tourism links, hurricane relief and others, has earned the Institute the respect of all agriculture stakeholders.

Panmedia will design the Institute’s annual report, repurpose its promotional material, produce its quarterly newsletter and handle the promotional aspects of its events.
