Panmedia has designed three promotional pieces for the Network for Export Solutions, a body that will fast track exporters’ needs and streamline regulations that affect them.
We produced multi media and power point presentations and a brochure for Jamaica Trade & Invest and the Jamaica Exporters Association. The two enabling agencies will use the promotional pieces to market the Network to stakeholders.
The Network is part of the national development strategy for improving the country’s international competitiveness as outlined in the Vision 2030 Plan. Vision 2030 promotes Jamaica as the place of choice to live, work, and do business.
The Network’s specific objectives in the next five years are to:
- Increase export GDP from 19 to 30%.
- Increase export’s contribution to employment to 150,000 jobs.
- Reduce ratio of imports to exports to 1.8:1
- Diversify exports.
- Build a competitive mindset among producers with potential to export.
The Network is developing Export Centres and Business Information Points, and Community Access Points island wide. These will offer standardised, universal and value-added services.
JTI and JEA say they will promote leadership support for the Network in Cabinet. They also promise to push for continued capacity development and training. The two agencies quote research that shows Jamaica has 40 sub-sectors with potential to be world-class exporters.
