Caribbean Producers Jamaica has raised its Social Network profile and is now an online source for all things food and beverage. With a YouTube channel, Facebook page, Flickr photo streams and a Twitter platform to sound off, CPJ promises no shortage of information and promotions about food service distribution, wines and spirits, and hospitality.
CPJ has also added a column to its online network: “Let’s talk wine,” by Sales & Marketing Manager Devon Reid. He writes knowledgeably about the company’s wine brands both on the CPJ website and its Facebook page. His latest entry features the “extravagantly full bodied wine” HobNob.
CPJ’s Facebook page encourages fans to respond to their polls and promotions, some of which will award prizes. Recent successful promotions such as Rumbar, Fight Night and Bacardi’s “Searching for the best Mojito” can also be viewed in videos on CPJ’s Youtube channel. The website offers recipes, drink mixes, and other useful food and beverage service articles.
Reid promises a heavy Christmas promotions schedule for all CPJ’s brands, with Power Wine leading the way. Last week Power Wine’s Horse Power to the People Race day promotion at Caymanas saw winner Patrick Brown awarded ownership of a horse for six months, with CPJ providing for its care and up keep.
This year CPJ celebrates its 15th Anniversary.
