Digicel has launched a second Panmedia designed Facebook game. The new and exciting Digicel 'Juss Buss' game challenges players to "buss" as many balloons as possible against the clock using their mouse to control the pin that does the work. The game is featured on Digicel’s Facebook page as a tab, and is part of the Digicel Jus Buss summer promotions where customers stand a chance to win a share of over $15 million in cash and prizes.
“The Jus Buss Facebook game provides Digicel with another way of engaging our customers and providing them with superior value,” says Jacqueline Burrell-Clarke, Corporate Affairs Manager at Digicel. “We have received great feedback from our fans on the Digicel BlackBerry Bonanza game and so we are happy to partner with Pan Media again to develop another exciting game for our Facebook fans”.
In the Digicel Facebook Jus Buss game, lucky players get daily giveaways and from Monday to Thursday the top ten players will each receive free Digicel credit. On Fridays, the top player of the week wins a Samsung B3410 phone.
The Digicel Jus Buss game is the second Facebook game that Panmedia has developed for the company. On June 7, the telecom market leader in mobile launched Digicel BlackBerry Bonanza, which was played more than 37,000 times.
The interactive gaming experience is popular with Jamaica’s Facebook fans. Games operated from social media platforms are becoming the marketing tool of choice for many products and services.
“Advergames” as many of these games are called, are now integrated into brand media planning in an increasingly fractured media environment. They engage target audiences long enough for them to have a positive interaction with a brand, but not so long that they feel drawn away from their fast paced daily activities.
“Digicel Jus Buss Facebook game is an exciting addition to Panmedia’s catalogue of interactive promotional games,” says Alex Morrissey, project leader for this game and Panmedia’s Manager of Design and Online Media. Czyzon Robinson and Paul Allen also worked on the development team for this game.
