Jamaica’s white sand beaches and gorgeous countryside are what brings most visitors to the island. But our resort towns are not the only attraction for foreigners. Some people come to Jamaica to do business. The island is home to several call centres and other IT related foreign businesses.
And in the same way North Coast visitors want nice space, so, too, does business people. For the manufactures that want to set up shop here The Factories Corporation of Jamaica fills their need for proper infrastructure.
So that those prospective businesses can get a good idea of what they will find even before they get here, FCJ has asked Panmedia to develop a web site that such visitors would find informative and functional.
This week we have begun that process and already we are enjoying it. It’s heartening to see the kind of space FCJ has prepared for business. In addition to a full gallery of such space and their specifications, the site will feature web application forms, a full site search and events that impact new businesses in Jamaica.
