We have moved into new and larger offices at 10 Argyle Road, just down the street from Jamaica Trade and Invest, and Red Bones Blues Café where we celebrated our move to New Kingston last week. It’s a gorgeous property, with colorful bougainvilleas, and a lawn large enough for a good scrimmage.
By the nature of what we do we see young people often on the up trajectory of their careers and aspirations. So we are accustomed to our brightest heading somewhere in the universe that will also nurture them. We are happy to have caught some of their genius and always wish them well.
This month Panmedia begins communications support to the Jamaica office of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture. We are developing a strategy for the Institute to connect more directly with its stakeholders and give the public a better understanding of its role in Jamaica’s agriculture.
This month Panmedia launches a website for The Mill Press, a project that had its beginnings ten years ago. In 1998, we were so impressed with The Mill Press’ preservation of Jamaica’s historical heritage, that we designed a demo site for Executive Director Valerie Facey. She liked the idea, but believed then that The Mill Press was not yet ready to go online.
Starting this month Panmedia will provide affordable SSL Certificates as an Authorized Reseller of GeoTrust. We are offering three distinct options for clients to secure their web and mail servers.
- RapidSSL is a low cost certificate that is suitable for serving internal audiences (e.g. securing CMS logins or email servers). It is not recommended for public facing websites.
- GeoTrust QuickSSL is suitable for public facing sites with a low volume of traffic/transactions.
